The INSIZE 1527-3001 Digital Caliper with Interchangeable Ball Tips is a highly versatile precision measuring instrument designed for complex internal measurements. Unlike standard calipers, its unique back-jaw design allows for the attachment of optional ball tips (available in ruby or stainless steel, from 1/16" to 1/2" diameter), making it ideal for measuring internal grooves, recesses, and center distances where standard flat jaws cannot reach.
The measuring range is calculated as (22.22 + D) to 300mm, where "D" is the diameter of the installed ball tips. Made of durable stainless steel, the caliper offers a resolution of 0.01mm/0.0005" and an accuracy of ±0.03mm. It features a digital display with on/off, set, mm/inch, and preset (+/-) buttons, automatic power-off, and data output. It is powered by a CR2032 battery and is available with a standard data interface (1527-3001) or built-in wireless (1527-3001WL).
