WSP53131 Universal Frequency and Time Interval Counter
A high-resolution bench counter for frequency, time interval, and phase measurements up to 6 GHz. Two independent channels measure and display at the same time, and built-in statistics turn raw readings into stability and error analysis. An AVR CPU, LSI, and CPLD design supports reliable operation, and a QVGA display keeps results clear.
Use it for: metrology and calibration labs, oscillator and crystal testing, RF and microwave communications work, R&D, and teaching labs.
You can:
Measure frequency, period, time interval, duty cycle, phase, and frequency ratio
Measure the time interval and phase difference between channels A and B
Measure positive and negative pulse width and rise/fall time
Cover DC to 225 MHz on channels A and B, and 100 MHz up to 1.5 GHz, 2.5 GHz, 3 GHz, or 6 GHz on channel C, depending on version (I to IV)
Run automatic statistics on frequency: mean, max, min, delta, absolute and relative deviation (PPM), standard deviation, and Allan variance
Use averaging to improve time interval, pulse width, phase, and duty cycle accuracy
Totalize with a set time gate or manually
Save up to 9 measurement setups; data is stored automatically, so nothing is lost
Run a self-calibration check
Input control: 100 kHz low-pass filter, ×1 / ×10 attenuator, rising or falling edge trigger, and presettable trigger level from -5 V to +5 V. Input impedance is 1 MΩ / 45 pF or 50 Ω, with AC/DC coupling on A and B and AC on C.
Key specs:
Resolution: 100 ps single-shot time interval, 10 digits per second frequency
Period: 4.44 ns to 1000 s
Time base stability: ≤1×10⁻⁷/day at 5 MHz, with external time base input (5 MHz / 10 MHz auto-select)
Totalize capacity: 1×10¹⁰
Interfaces: USB, RS232, and printer output.
Specs: 110-127 V / 220-240 V (50/60 Hz), 265 × 104 × 375 mm, 2.5 kg.
