The INSIZE RBT-CMM01 Automatic Measurement System is a state-of-the-art, fully automated inspection solution that integrates a high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with a 6-axis industrial robot. Designed as a custom-made turnkey system, it streamlines the quality control process by automating workpiece handling, measurement, and sorting.
The system features a 6-axis industrial robot (IP67 rated) with a 720mm arm spreading and a maximum working speed of 4000mm/s, ensuring rapid and precise part manipulation. Workpieces (up to 8kg) are manually loaded into the inspection station, after which the robot transfers them to the CMM's customized three-coordinate fixture. The CMM (500×600×400mm range, ±(2.3+L/250)µm MPEE) performs the dimensional checks and automatically sorts the parts into "OK" or "NG" stations based on the results.
Controlled via an Ethernet Modbus TCP protocol for high-speed communication and easy system expansion, the entire operation is managed by the included VISUAL DMS CNC CAD+ software, which features automatic data storage and optional specialized modules for gears, worms, pipelines, blades, and SPC analysis.
