The INSIZE RBT-CMM02 Workshop CMM Automatic Measurement System is a custom-made, fully automated inspection cell built on a robust gantry structure, specifically designed for reliable operation directly on the factory floor. By integrating a high-speed 6-axis industrial robot with an enclosed Workshop CMM, this system completely automates the loading, measuring, and sorting process, eliminating human error and drastically reducing inspection cycle times.
Unlike traditional CMMs, this system requires no gas supply (compressed air) and is engineered to operate in shop-floor environments with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 40°C. The system features four reserved loading openings for flexible integration into production lines. The 6-axis robot (IP67 rated, ±0.02mm repeatability) transfers workpieces (up to 8kg) from the loading area to the customized fixture inside the CMM (500×600×500mm range, ±(3.1+L/200)µm accuracy). The INSIZE DMS CNC CAD+ software manages the entire operation, measuring dimensions, evaluating shape and position, and directing the robot to sort the parts into OK or NG stations based on real-time results. Controlled via Ethernet Modbus TCP, it ensures high-speed, seamless communication for Industry 4.0 automation.
